Company Name: Somewhere in Time
City/State/Country: Pueblo, Colorado, USA
Birthday: 9-16
Family info: Happily married, four grown children, two grandchildren
Media: Polymer clays: cernit, crealltherm, super sculpey. Prefer a mix of cernit with just a small bit of super sculpey mixed in.
Type-Style of Dolls: My style is not yet defined. I have made an old woman, two younger girls, two 30-something ladies, two old men and one Santa with his eyes too close together. I love the Victorian era and that is probably the direction in which I will be going.
Length of Time: 1-1/2 years
Awards: Blue Ribbon in Pueblo Melting Pot Doll Show (IDMA) 1996 for a piece entitled, "Come Back To Me". The doll depicts the old woman in the movie, "Somewhere in Time".
Comments on dollmaking: I often wonder what I did before I made dolls. Everything I have learned in the art/craft world has culminated in this media. I only hope that one day my work will be fine enough to sit alongside some of my favorite artists. The nicest people in the world are dollmakers.
