Company Name: Laurel's Petticoat Lane
Location: Acworth (outside of Atlanta), Georgia, USA
Birthday: Oct 23/46
Family information: I am from Vancouver, BC, Canada and have been living in Georgia, temporarily, for 3 years. I have been married for 30 years and we have 3 sons.
Type/style of dolls: Reproduction antique and contemporary dolls
Length of time in dollmaking: 9 years
Professional Credits: I have taken several Bell and Seeley antique reproduction seminars and I have been teaching for about 5 years.
Awards: Several 1st and 2nd place ribbons plus the "Freddie" presented by Popular Ceramics for Best of Show Amateur Hobbyist (first doll/first competition). Competitions got considerably stiffer after that when I started entering real doll competitions.
Comments on dollmaking: My real love are the German and French antique although I do enjoy many of the contemporary dolls. I've had excellent teachers and had the great privilege of participating in seminars conducted by Barbara Ota, for Bell and Kitty Murks, for Seeley. I just hope I can do them justice.
