Medium: Primarily Super Sculpey, but some pieces are done in Paperclay or stone clay.I also make scaled wood toys and use antiques.
Type/Style of Work: Most of my pieces are realistically sculpted with the motivation of eliciting long forgotten memories of childhood, Christmas and the common human experiences of family life.
Professional Credits: Chosen by Early American Homes Magazine as one of their Santa Makers of the Year for 1996, '97 and '98. Pieces published in several magazines and periodicals, the most recent being, Doll Collector, (Dec./Jan., 1999) and the Christmas Issue of Early American Homes.
Comments: Sculpting is a passion. I have always been a sculptor, I think, even when I was using Mother's biscuit dough! Being a teacher of small children provided me with an unending array of beautiful faces to memorize and recreate. What a joy!
